Preeti & Rohail

I can’t believe I do this for a living. It’s probably not the best job in the world (see this and this) but being around happy people isn’t half bad. Truth be told, I dreamt about shooting those big fat Indian weddings at fancy destinations when I started off about 4 years ago. Success, to many, is defined by that very benchmark but give me a happy couple with a happy set of friends and family and I’ll be on my way. Any day.

Preeti & Rohail were just that, and more! Over 2 days, Preeti effortlessly yo-yo’ed between being the most emotional bride ever to being the one with the happiest laugh. Rohail (proper swag fellow this guy is) maintained a dapper attitude throughout while dancing like JT and singing and playing the guitar like Alexi Murdoch, maybe! Frankly, I don’t remember much from those two days because along with the wedding entourage, Raj, Sushanth, Arjun and I helped ourselves to constant refills of gin & tonic. Here are a few Bombay Sapphire fuelled pictures from the wedding. Hope you like ‘em 🙂

Lovely photographs

The photos are great asusual but I liked the text even more. When I first got to know about you guys(Raj as well) at Kartik and Mru wedding, I instantly did some research on fb and insta and was impressed by your work. At times I tried to sneak into your process to see how those images are made and I remember this one instance where you and Raj were taking this shot of Kartik and Mru in the swimming pool area at chunda with the blue wall in the background. I wondered how you guys were posing them. At the time I was not done with all the swirls and twirls and I thought to myself what the hell kind of pose is that. I was curious to know the outcome and I got a glimpse of the photo from your camera and I was blown away. It was so simple and yet so pretty. I went back to Harsh and told him about this shot and we had fire on our ass to shoot well.

I was ignorant to the good work at the time and I still think the same today. The work that makes it or appeal to the masses is totally different. I started my journey with that and you (and Raj) sort of exposed me to this underground Indian wedding photographers who are something else.

You guys are our Indian Two Mann. Keep up the good work. I would love to shoot with you and Raj some day!

This is one of the most beautiful set of pictures that I have seen in a while! Keep you the good work! ❤️
